How do fees work on Coopee™?

Joining and starting a shop on the Brighton-Cramahe Marketplace is simple, quick, and easy. There are three basic selling fees: a listing subscription, a transaction fee, and a payment processing fee.

We have three subscription tiers to suit your business.

We accept customer payments which incur a 2.9%+30¢. This fee is passed on to the vendor.

A platform transaction fee of 1% plus a Chamber commission of 1% brings the current total to 4.9%+30¢ per transaction.

What do I need to do to create a shop?

It’s easy to set up a shop on Coopee™. Create an account (if you don’t already have one) and complete the application form. Then, set your shop location, shop name, branding, load your products, open your store.

We are developing guides, documentation, how-to videos, and templates to help you get online faster than ever.

How do I get paid?

All customer transactions are processed by Coopee™ via credit card with our payment processing partner Elavon Canada. Merchants are required to have a PayPal account in order to receive payouts. Payout withdrawals can be requested or scheduled by you at your convenience. Orders that have been marked as “Completed” for at least 7 days are available for withdrawal. All transaction fees are deducted from sales revenue prior to payout.

Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?

Yes. A card is required to verify identity and to pay your subscription fee. However, a PayPal account is required for your store to receive payouts..

What can I sell on Coopee™?

Any product or service that may legally be sold online in Canada and in your Province may be sold on Coopee™.
